Dr. Wesley Powell is a board-certified pediatric dentist and longtime leader in Atlanta’s dental community. With over 20 years in private practice, he brings unmatched expertise in preventive care, sedation dentistry, and early orthodontic intervention — all within a patient-first, boutique model designed for children and teens.
Known for his thoughtful, conservative approach and commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Powell treats children starting at age 1.5 through young adulthood. He has extensive experience in:

Dr. Powell completed his dental degree at Columbia University School of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, followed by a three-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also earned a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry.
His training included:
- Hospital-based pediatric dentistry
- Sedation protocols and safety
- Early orthodontic intervention and craniofacial development
- Oral surgery externship
- Research in oral immunology and microbiology
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has practiced in Atlanta since 2001.
